Hello, welcome to my first blog on my site. I'll probably being making posts on here every 2 weeks, if not then it will be when ever some cool news comes out about Rubik's cubes! Anyways enjoy! As this post is about a man who solved the cube underwater.
On November 3rd of this year a cuber from Singapore set a world record, and adding another record to his collection by solving a Rubik's cube underwater. Daryl Tan Hong An who is 21 completely submerged himself underwater and solved a 3x3 cube in 9.29 seconds. Daryl has numerous other cube related world records, including one where he solved a 4x4 cube upside down in 10.81 seconds. Some others are as follows:
Daryl owns 12 cubing world records, and he has the most cube related records than anyone else in the world. Daryl got his first cube when he was 8, however it wasn't until 3 years later when he learned to solve it. Daryls best single solve time in competition is 5.88 seconds closing in on world record holder Max Park's 3.12 second solve. Down below is the video of Daryl doing his underwater record.
